I just ran up to the bank to get some green to pay for all those lil pesky things you need to live and found someone else had left their ATM card in the machine. Well I have this damn thing called a conscience that keeps me from doing bad things with other peoples money. So I bring the card home and look up the lady whos name is on it with www.whitepages.com .
I call the number of the last name on the list because it's got the same prefix as my own number. I reach the owner of the card and she ofered to come over and et the card. I gave her my addy and instructions to get here. She showed up not long after and was very happy to get her card back. She even brought a NICE bottle of $30 Pieroth Meister's Cuvee (white). She said it was the least she could do. She had a card stolen last summer and it had screwed her account. Her and her husband had just moved here from St. Louis and had JUST opened this account last week.
Good deed done and I got some nice bubblie out of it.
